BrillKids Little Reader is a nice application that will help your little kids learn how to read with interactive lessons. The lessons are completely customizable and they are divided in various sessions with different activities that include lists of words and images with their respective pronunciation, as well as multi-sensory activities with animations, images and pronunciations to help your kids understand the meaning of a certain word.
The exercises are run in full screen, so the kid won't have access to your computer. You can also lock the mouse and keyboard, so there's no way to exit the application without your help. You will also be able to download additional content from an online library which includes more built-in lessons. The program will allow you to print any content included in the application with lots of customization options. There are also multiple tutorials with videos that will help you get acquainted with all the features the program has to offer in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, the user interface looks a bit old, but it is intuitive and easy to use.
